Say the thought. Keep the insight.
Press once and talk. Mind writes the words down as they leave your mouth, then turns them into a note with a line that names the idea — so a thought you had in the car is still findable in a year. All of it happens on the iPhone, and no recording is ever made.
What it does
- Opens listening One tap and the microphone is already on, with the words appearing as you say them. Not a menu, not an empty text field with a microphone button in the corner — the whole job is catching a thought before it goes.
- Writes it up in your own voice Apple Intelligence turns what you said into a title that states the idea and a note in the first person, with the false starts and the "um"s taken out. It does not summarise your thinking into bullet points and it never adds a thought you did not have.
- No recording, ever Sound becomes text as you speak and is thrown away. There is no audio file at any point, so there is nothing to find, leak or hand over. Mind keeps the words it heard under the note, and you can switch even that off.
- Everything on the device The speech model and Apple Intelligence both run on the iPhone. There is no cloud option in Mind and no setting to turn one on.
- Type it when talking is wrong In a meeting, on a train, or on an iPhone without Apple Intelligence — write it however it comes out and Mind does the same job with it.
- Brings one back to you Every day the front screen hands you one insight from your library that you had stopped looking for. A notebook nobody reopens is a drawer.
- Filed without thinking about it Self, Work, People, Craft, Life. Six shelves, chosen for you and changed with one tap, so a library of four hundred thoughts is still searchable.
- Six colours, and the icon follows Change the colour and the app on your Home Screen changes with it.
What it doesn't do
There is no account and no server of ours. Your voice never becomes a file, and the words never leave your iPhone. Nothing is shared automatically — sharing an insight is something you do to one insight at a time, on purpose. Nothing is measured about how you use the app, because there is nothing in it that measures you. Mind is a notebook, not advice, and the note it writes is one model's reading of what you said. Read the privacy policy — it is short, because the truthful version is short.
